The transformation you will experience:

We're looking for a SEO Content/Account Manager to drive the SEO strategy and growth for a portfolio of high-value global clients. This role goes beyond maintaining accounts, you will shape overarching SEO & GEO strategies, influence business outcomes, and mentor junior team members. You will combine deep SEO expertise with exceptional client management experience, driving results that align with broader commercial goals.

Your scope will include:

● Client Influence & Account Strategy

● Act as the strategic head for assigned client accounts, directing senior stakeholders and building long-term relationships

● Translate convoluted SEO performance data into actionable insights, clear recommendations, and measurable business outcomes

● Drive quarterly and bi-annual SEO planning, setting priorities that align with client growth objectives

● Identify opportunities for upsell and additional value through innovative strategies

● Own the end-to-end SEO & GEO strategies for multiple clients, including on-page, technical, content, and international SEO

● Conduct high-level audits and provide strategic recommendations that influence product, UX, and content outcomes

● Spearhead site migrations, international SEO initiatives, and large-scale optimisation projects

● Stay ahead of algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging AI search technologies, integrating them into client strategies

● Develop holistic strategies across organic and paid media

● Oversee performance tracking, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded

● Produce executive-level reporting and insights that clearly articulate ROI and growth opportunities

● Collaborate with analytics and paid media teams to interact SEO performance to wider business metrics

● Mentor and guide junior account managers and coordinators, fostering training & development and utmost practice adoption

● Collaborate closely with content, development, UX, and paid teams to ensure SEO is integrated across campaigns

● Drive internal knowledge sharing, contributing to thought influence and process improvements

What type of person will be successful in this role:

● Experience in agency or consultancy settings maintaining high-value clients

● Proven SEO Content experience, with a strong track record in client-facing roles

● Proven aptitude to develop and implement strategic SEO plans that deliver measurable business results

● Technical SEO knowledge is an advantage, including experience with site architecture, migrations, and international SEO

● Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management experience

● Experienced with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4)

● Knowledge of GEO, CRO, UX, content strategy, or paid media

● Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and retention

● Experience heading workshops, training sessions, or thought executive initiatives
