About the Role
As Senior Buyer, you will take full ownership of the Dresses category, driving product strategy, range development, and financial performance. You'll balance creativity with commercial acumen, delivering collections that resonate with the customer and maximise sales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end buying cycle for the Dresses category
Develop and execute seasonal product strategies aligned with brand direction
Analyse sales, trends, and market data to inform buying decisions
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, both locally and offshore
Manage OTB (Open to Buy), pricing architecture, and margin targets
Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Planning, and Marketing teams
Mentor and develop junior team members (2)
About You
Proven experience as a Senior Buyer in womens apparel (Dresses highly regarded)
Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering results
Deep understanding of the Australian retail market and customer
Ability to work at pace, manage competing priorities, and make decisive calls
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
