Youth Futures is entering an exciting new chapter across our 24/7 Supported Accommodation Services, and we're looking for a passionate and skilled Team Leader to help shape the future of how we support young people aged 15–19 experiencing homelessness.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created role, joining a team that is evolving, strengthening, and committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, person-centred support every single day.

The Role

As the Team Leader – 24/7 Supported Accommodation Services, you'll work across our sites Djinda and TINOCA, coordinating the daily operations of our accommodation programs and guiding the team to deliver safe, consistent, and meaningful support to young people. The hours are full time, between 6am-8pm across different shifts.

Working closely with our Accommodation Services Coordinator, you will:

· Support Youth Workers through reflective practice, coaching, and on-the-ground guidance

· Maintain direct engagement with young people

· Coordinate rosters and contribute to operational planning

· Respond to emerging risks, incidents, feedback, and daily service challenges

· Promote a strong, calm, team-based culture built on trauma-informed practice

· Work flexibly across shifts and participate in the on-call roster to ensure continuity of support

· Contribute to ongoing service development and continuous improvement

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and has a genuine commitment to supporting young people to feel safe, heard, and empowered.

About You

· Degree or (minimum) Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or related field, plus demonstrated experience in homelessness, housing, youth work or community services

· Compassionate and confident in working with young people experiencing complex challenges

· Skilled in reflective practice and supporting others to grow professionally

· Calm under pressure and strong in your boundaries

· Value-driven, culturally aware, and committed to inclusive practice

· Ready to step into a role where your voice, experience, and leadership will genuinely shape service delivery

· Looking to join a team that is building something meaningful and long-lasting

· Current Working with Children and police clearances are required

In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous salary packaging benefits where you can package up to$15,900 for general living expenses and an additional $2,650 for entertainment benefits per annum.
