About the role
We require a Workshop Supervisor with a view to long-term growth within the company.
The Workshop Supervisor is an integral part of our manufacturing team, responsible for managing the production team and ensuring our products are built to a high standard of quality.
This role is diverse and suited to applicants who enjoy working on various equipment.
The successful candidate will have appropriate mechanical knowledge and experience. Prior experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
Structured training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead by example and supervise staff to ensure efficient performance.
* Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Parts, and Sales departments to ensure timely order completion.
* Manage inventory levels and procurement to support production schedules.
* Build and maintain customer relationships.
* Provide leadership and foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and collaboration.
* Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed to maintain a safe workplace.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
* Ensure on-time delivery of products.
About you
You should have:
* Proven leadership experience in a workshop, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of management practices and their implications.
* Strong problem-solving and scheduling skills.
* A positive attitude, attention to detail, and high organizational skills.
* Ability to manage an agile team in a dynamic environment.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience with ERP systems (MYOB preferred) is highly regarded.
Advantageous
* Hydraulic experience.
* Experience with Air Compressors or Pressure Washers.
