As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient support, identifying and triaging patients promptly, and collaborating with medical practitioners to ensure seamless care delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Patient Care and Triage: Provide accurate and empathetic patient assessments, prioritizing accuracy and confidence when assessing patient needs.
* Critical Thinking and Decision Making: Act decisively in critical moments, identifying and escalating emergencies or patient deterioration without hesitation to safeguard patient health.
* Clinical Skills and Expertise: Utilize clinical skills to perform hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering, expanding expertise in a dynamic environment.
* Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous documentation, completing patient records accurately and promptly to support continuity of care and quality standards.
About You
* Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting, triage experience, ICU, CCU, Rural or remote nursing is preferred.
* Desirable Skills: Prior experience in triage with an emergency department, remote nursing is highly regarded.
