About The Role
To meet our current and future work commitments, we require an experienced Landscape Leading Hand, to work on a number of new and existing projects across North Queensland. J MAC Constructions has an opportunity for a Landscape Leading Hand with experience in landscaping to contribute to our project portfolio of unique landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
* You will work closely with Foreman to monitor and drive construction progress to program and in line with drawings, specifications and health, safety, environment and quality requirements.
* With safety our highest priority, you will play a primary role in championing a safe working environment with a Zero Harm approach and ensure superior delivery of our projects.
About You
* Understanding of OHS and environmental requirements.
* Proven ability to motivate and drive team culture focused on delivery of client objectives.
* People and performance management skills of labour, subcontractors and suppliers to drive high performing teams.
* Demonstrated industry experience as a site supervisor in commercial scale landscaping.
* Attention to detail.
* Previous relevant experience working on hardscape / softscape projects is strongly desired.
