About the Role
We are assisting a leading semiconductor company in Adelaide to find an experienced Analog IC Designer to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge silicon products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance analog and mixed-signal designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks, including amplifiers, regulators, PLLs, ADCs/DACs, and reference circuits
* Create and optimise schematics for high-performance, production-ready designs
* Perform circuit simulations, analysis, and validation across all process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners
* Collaborate with layout, verification, and system teams to ensure seamless integration into larger SoC designs
* Troubleshoot and debug designs in collaboration with the wider engineering team
* Stay up-to-date with analog design methodologies, tools, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
* Proven experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design for ASICs or SoCs
* Strong experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE)
* Familiarity with process design kits (PDKs) and semiconductor design flows
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
