Job Description
The Parks & Gardens Labourer supports the maintenance and presentation of public parks, gardens, recreation areas, and landscaped spaces. This role involves hands-on outdoor work, operating equipment, and ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and visually appealing Perform general gardening duties, clean and maintain BBQ areas.
Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and garden beds Operate and maintain small machinery (mowers, blowers, brush-cutters, hedge trimmers) Assist with irrigation installation, repairs, and watering
Remove rubbish, green waste and maintain cleanliness of work areas Conduct basic maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment Follow WHS procedures and use PPE at all times
Support the parks team with landscaping, turf maintenance, and general grounds upkeep
