Consultant Geriatrician | 650+ Bed Regional Referral Centre | Victoria
We are working closely with one of Australia's largest regional health services and are keen to connect with FRACP Geriatricians interested in a full‐time role within a mature and well‐established Geriatric Medicine department.
The service supports a large and ageing regional population and operates across acute geriatric consults, GEM/subacute inpatient units and rehabilitation‐linked models of care. The role offers meaningful involvement in orthogeriatrics, frailty pathways and multidisciplinary service development. This position will appeal to Geriatricians seeking scale, structure and long‐term professional stability within a major regional centre.
The Hospital
This major regional health service includes more than 650 beds and provides secondary and tertiary‐level care across a vast catchment. The Geriatric Medicine service includes:
* Acute geriatric consult service
* Established GEM / subacute inpatient units

Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Geriatric Medicine
* Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
* International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
