About the Role
This is a casual opportunity for you to join us as a Disability Support Worker in Maryborough This role is all about supporting our customers in a SIL home, helping with their everyday needs. There are shifts available throughout the day and night, including sleepovers.
You'll assist individuals with a variety of disabilities and help foster an environment that promotes independence and personal growth. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we'd love for you to be a part of our team
Other responsibilities may include:
* Support with daily personal care, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to encourage good behaviours and manage challenging ones.
* Follow authorised Restrictive Practices as outlined in the PBSP.
* Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports.

What we are looking for:
* Prior experience in disability support
* Experience with implementing PBSP plans and Restrictive Practices (advantage)
* Flexible availability for both AM and PM shifts
Requirements
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain
* Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
* CPR and First Aid certificate
* NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
* Working with Children Check (blue card)
