**Role Summary**
PSC is looking for an accounting professional to work with our global finance team. While we've been operating as electricity consultants across the globe for more than 25 years, we think of ourselves as a small family where you'll find a good work/life balance and strong company support. As a valued member of the Finance Team, you will support the team in the day-to-day running of financial operations and help to improve processes. With a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail you will process the fortnightly payroll, accounts payable and manage financial data entry requests. You will need to be **curious, flexible, positive,** and good at developing relationships with people across the organisation and external parties. Must be legally authorised to work in Australia or New Zealand without sponsorship.
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Data Entry of** Accounts Payable** (AP) invoices for multiple global entities and preparation of payments.
- Complete internal approval process for invoice payments in accordance with Delegation of Authority policy
- Process client receipts, financial transactions and corresponding data files
- Fortnightly **Global Payroll **processing
- Assist in the Lodgement and payment of payroll tax
- Preparation and lodgement of yearly STP requirements
- Develop and maintain **positive relationships** with stakeholders
- Familiarising yourself with multiple processes within the team
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
**Qualifications and Skills**
- **2 years of accounts payable, accounts administration, and/or payroll administration experience**:
- Strong Microsoft Office software experience with emphasis on **Excel** skills
- Prefer experience working in a multi-currency environment with foreign exchange experience, but not required as we will train
- Legally authorised to work in Australia or New Zealand without sponsorship
