About The Role

The Reservations Supervisor is a key leader responsible for guiding the Reservations Team to deliver efficient operations and an exceptional guest experience. This role focuses on staff development, ensuring the team is well‐equipped to meet guest needs while maintaining strong booking conversion rates. The position emphasises teamwork, clear communication, and operational excellence to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Supervise the daily operations of the Reservations Team to maintain efficiency and service excellence.
* Support the Customer Service & Sales Manager with team leadership and escalation management.
* Manage staff rosters, monitor hours, and coordinate team training and development.
* Oversee bookings, manifests, and availability, making adjustments based on demand and weather.
* Ensure accurate invoicing, vessel reconciliation, and maintain strong performance across website and OTA channels.
* Communicate updates, promotions, and operational changes clearly across the team.
* Assist with reporting and maintain accurate internal documentation.

The ideal candidate excels in multitasking, maintains exceptional attention to detail, and brings experience in supervising or managing a team. Effective communication and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships are essential.

Cruise Whitsundays, based in Airlie Beach is the largest marine‐based tour and transport provider in the Whitsundays. * Experience in training, mentoring, or leading a team
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service role
* Familiarity with booking/reservation systems (CustomLinc experience desirable)
* Complete Police Check
* First Aid Cert
