Essendon Day Procedure Centre – Moonee Ponds VIC
Essendon Day Procedure Centre is seeking an experienced and friendly Receptionist to join our team in Moonee Ponds, Victoria.
This is a full-time position, with opportunities for career development within our organisation.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients.
Manage incoming calls, emails and patient enquires.
Travel to nearby consulting rooms as required to support the surgeons in our off-site clinics.
Arrange theatre bookings and liaise with hospitals and anesthetists.
Prepare patient surgical quotes treatment plans and hospital bookings.
Daily banking and payments.
Assist with organisation of relevant imaging, pathology and specialist referrals.
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a medical/dental receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting although training is provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectively.
Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems.
A team player with a positive attitude.
