The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.
Duties
Building Projects provides advisory and management services to assist all State government agencies manage the construction, replacement, refurbishment or demolition of buildings.
The Contract Administrator is accountable to the Team Leader Contract Management - Buildings for the management of a number of building projects contracts to ensure they are effectively administered, all commitments are met and agreed outcomes are secured.
The Contract Administrator is responsible for providing commercial contract management in accordance with contract law, legislation, tender and contracting procedures.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary level qualifications in Law and/or other relevant discipline will be well regarded.
Special Conditions
The successfulcandidate will be required to provide a National Police Check prior toemployment with the Department. Additional employment checks may be requiredrelevant to the role being undertaken as outlined in the role statement.
Some outof hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel may berequired.
Remuneration
ASO5 - $83,273 to $92,614 per annum
