An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team!

Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a General Manager of People & Culture to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, just 20 minutes from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking a confident, decisive, business-focused General Manager of People & Culture, responsible for a team of seven managing four zones of the resort and up to 1000 team members during peak season, including learning and development.

This role is integral to the resort, requiring you to live and work at Ayers Rock Resort, NT. You will be part of the Ayers Rock Resort Leadership team, reporting to the Resort General Manager and the Director of People & Culture.

This is a rare opportunity for a people & culture professional seeking a challenging and adventurous change. You will work and live in Yulara, overseeing the entire town—from the airport to the IGA, hotels, campground, and employee accommodations. If you enjoy building strong relationships, developing innovative solutions, supporting a team, and find daily work highly rewarding and varied, then this role is for you.

This isn't a typical HR role; living in a magnificent location offers a unique perspective of Central Australia. Our goal is to create jobs for local communities and empower a growing Indigenous workforce. Our company is committed to closing the gap, and you must share these values and be a driver of change.

Key Duties

Your role is ER/IR focused with a hands-on approach. You will guide, lead, and manage a broad range of activities and projects, including (but not limited to):

* Leading and developing the current People & Culture team
* Workforce planning
* Policy and procedure reviews

We believe our role is to assist People Managers in managing their teams effectively, providing clear expectations, processes, and upskilling managers to be confident and capable in their roles.

The Best Part

This role offers a unique perspective of Central Australia in a magnificent location. Our aim is to provide jobs for local communities and empower Indigenous workers. We are committed to closing the gap, and you should share these values and want to be a driver of change.

Our resort offers attractive incentives, including accommodation, competitive pay, four (4) officer checks a month, resort discounts, on-shift meals, and relocation assistance up to $5,000. You'll also have access to our staff pool, gym, and Residents Club. When off duty, explore the Red Centre and enjoy unforgettable experiences.

This isn't just a job. It's an experience that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.

* A National Criminal History Check is mandatory in the recruitment process.
* Relocate to Ayers Rock Resort, NT, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
* Enjoy a small-town, big-community feel with staff amenities and weekly activities.
* Benefit from affordable accommodation, shift meals, and resort discounts to reduce living costs.
