**Technical Supervisor Maintenance Operations**
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations team at Port Botany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance tasks and overseeing the performance of our technical personnel.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead Safety & Compliance: Ensure the safety of all site personnel and actively manage compliance with company policies and procedures across all maintenance and operational areas.
* Maintenance Oversight: Ensure all preventative and breakdown maintenance is completed on time, is up-to-date, and performed efficiently to maximize equipment availability.
* Personnel Management: Directly supervise the technical team, manage team and individual performance, and ensure the effective utilization and development of the technical workforce in line with business needs.
* System Management: Ensure accurate and timely entry of all maintenance data into Maximo (Maintenance Management System), supervise stock control and asset utilization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Fitter/Mechanical/Electrical trade qualification plus post-trade qualification.
* Proven experience managing a technical service operation within the Port, Mechanical Handling, or Industrial Operations sectors.
* Exceptional people management skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and handle performance management and industrial relationships.
* Strong financial understanding of budgets, capital expenditure, and cost control.
