ABOUT THE ROLE
* Location: Newcastle, NSW
* Full‐time and Casual Opportunities available
* Weekday and weekend shifts available
* Fulltime shifts: Tues – Sat 1100‐1900hrs(subject to seasonal change)
* Casual shifts: varies across 7 Days 1100‐2200hrs (subject to seasonal change)
Wilson Security is expanding in NSW, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.
This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Providing strong Customer Service solutions to client and site visitors
* Retail security experience (preferred but not required)
* The ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with strong de‐escalation skills
* Professional and well‐groomed appearance
* Conducting site patrols to actively report and mitigate any safety risks
* Identifying and reporting hazardsProviding support to client staff and visitors
* Ability to use digital reporting platforms

* Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)

* Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
* Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
* Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
