Fixed Term, Full Time Appointment | Contract until October 2027
Professional Employee Level 7 – annual salary up to $105,992 pa

About the Position
As the Integration Developer, you will play a key role in bridging Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) with CDU business units to support seamless and scalable system integration. The primary focus of this role is to understand, analyse, and accurately document business processes and integration requirements, enabling the delivery of effective technical solutions that align with university needs.
Working closely with subject matter experts, business units, project managers, stakeholders, and external vendors, the Integration Developer is responsible for identifying integration requirements, analysing both existing and emerging systems, and designing solutions that improve inter-operability and efficiency. A strong consultative approach is essential, as the role involves collaboration with stakeholders and analysts to identify business challenges, assess current and future state processes, and design fit-for-purpose integrations.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, process analysis, and strong client engagement skills to deliver high-quality integration solutions that support CDU's strategic and operational goals.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in integration development, including the successful delivery of large-scale integration projects.
- Strong knowledge of integration platforms and middleware technologies, with a preference for MuleSoft, Callista and/or similar integration platforms (e.g., Bhoomi, Workato)
- Demonstrated expertise in API lifecycle management and use of API management platforms.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and database technologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering technically sound and business-aligned solutions.
- Solid SQL skills, with the ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries to support integration, reporting, and application data requirements.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and NT Working with Children clearance. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 7. The base salary will be in the range of $96,559 - $105,992 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $112,974 - $124,010 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
