Recharge Petroleum is looking for an experienced Workshop Leading Hand to join our Port Hedland workshop.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be on the tools, working alongside the team, and leading from the front to keep our fleet moving.

What you will do
As our Workshop Leading Hand you will be:
* Working hands-on in the workshop carrying out repairs and maintenance
* Maintaining Kenworth prime movers (CAT / Cummins engines), fuel tanker trailers, light vehicles and plant equipment
* Leading and supporting a small team of mechanics and apprentices
* Allocating daily jobs and helping the team get work done safely and efficiently
* Organising parts, suppliers, and contractors when required
* Keeping service records, inspections, and compliance paperwork up to date
What you will need
* A recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification
* Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and plant (transport or fuel industry experience preferred)
* The ability to lead by example
* Good communication skills and a practical, common-sense approach
* Strong organisation and record-keeping skills
* Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and transport legislation
* Current manual C class driver's licence
* MC driver's licence and forklift ticket will be highly regarded
