Occupational Therapist Role
Evaluate treatment needs, conduct assessments, and develop rehabilitation plans to enable clients to participate in work and daily activities.
* Evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have a work-related or non-work-related injury, or who have experienced a work-debilitating illness
* Conducting assessments such as initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics, and activities of daily living
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance their functional ability
2. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness and develop strategies to improve client outcomes
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to deliver evidence-based care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
* Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in the state where employed
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassion and empathy for clients and their families
