About The Role
Concord Centre for Mental Health is committed to improving mental health for people and our communities by providing quality mental health services in partnership with consumers, families and service providers by providing quality healthcare, delivery of safe appropriate care, ensuring access to services, supporting our workforce, and working closely with the local community to manage the changing demand for services.
The position is based at Rivendell Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services.
This position provides evidence based psychological assessment, diagnosis, case formulation and treatment of psychopathology as it is manifested in cognitive, emotional, motivational, personality and behavioural disturbances in school-aged children. Patients/clients/consumers will be seen individually and may be seen in groups for treatment. The Clinical Psychologist will participate in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services, assist in the development and provision of education and training programs, and will be expected to supervise post-graduate provisional psychologists where appropriate.

Ideal Candidate
* Must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA.
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in the provision of clinical psychology interventions, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and working with families.
* Experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
