We are looking for a Community Manager who is passionate about elevating and being a champion for the role social can play for our brand partners. You will understand the nuances of consumer behaviour on social media - what they're saying, where they're saying it, and how to respond as a brand guardian. You can turn a social behaviour into a genuine creative thought-starter or show how it presents a business opportunity.
Our ideal candidates' have in depth experience in harnessing the power of a community to connect to business impact, with a strong focus on the Sport & Sponsorship space. You will have sport in your DNA - you are someone who doesn't just watch the game but understands its heartbeat.
From blockbuster finals to grassroots rivalries, you know the codes, the athletes, the culture and the fans. Whether it's AFL, NRL, cricket, football, motorsport, basketball or beyond, sport isn't just content - it shapes your weekends, your conversations and your passions. In this role, you'll bring that energy to life through identifying opportunities that connect audiences to the moments that matter - sparking and driving lively conversation with our communities.
You live and breathe social media and know about format changes, shifts in channel behaviours and trends before they hit the For You page. Leading all aspects of community for a brand from community engagement, influencer connection and content creation for one of our largest clients in Australia.

* Moderation and engagement
of owned social channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X to create real fan communities.
* Utilising proactive engagement
to grow communities, identify cultural areas where the brand can authentically play, and turn these comments & moments into rewarding experiences.
* Assisting and proactively bringing forward
insights/behaviours/opportunities for ideation, jump-off points and creative executions
* Creative at your core -
ability to ideate quickly and knowhow around how to produce content
* Culture -
You have culture at the forefront of mind are able to find opportunities and trending moments for brands to be relevant
* Reporting For Duty -
You are able to distill large amounts of data and information into insightful reports for brand and insights teams
* Understanding your Canvas -
You know the different social channels and formats intimately and know how to adopt creative to fit them but also know how to push the boundaries to use them
* Harness the power of influence
* You know influencers & creators, how best to engage them and balance authenticity vs brand integration.
* Work collaboratively
with creatives, strategists, social folk and clients to deliver best practise
* Sporting Passion
* You live & breathe sport, understand how to leverage it authentically and can build calendar moments that make sense
To be in the running for this great role, you should have:
* 3-4 years of experience working in social, ideally from an agency background.
* Confident communication skills to energetically engage internal and external stakeholders and articulate your thoughts
* Experience working alongside creatives, strategists and producers to make work that pushes boundaries
* Passion for Sporting culture and willingness to cover weekends to take advantage of these moments
* A passion for subcultures and the want to teach people on your own personal insights
* Strong written skills & attention to detail
* Comfortability working under a sense of urgency, context switching and being resourceful and proactive
* A positive and solution focussed attitude
* The willingness to grow with and alongside the business
* You love being part of a team
