Full-time Permanent Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team at the Karratha Depot.
About the Job
The successful candidate will represent our company in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers in a consistent and timely manner. This role requires the ability to ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and lifted/transported in accordance with safety regulations.
The driver is expected to adhere to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe and law-abiding driving practices. They must also understand and respect our OH&S policies and procedures.
In this role, you will manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests and notes at pickup points. You will also ensure freight is packaged in a safe and effective manner.
Requirements
* Excellent Communication Skills
* A current Heavy Vehicle licence and extensive driving experience
* A current Forklift ticket and experience
* An MSIC Card or the ability to obtain one (we will cover the cost)
* Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight
* Experience with radio communications systems is preferable
* Experience with Load Restraint Systems & Equipment is preferable
* The ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A)
