A Support Officer - Health and Safety will be responsible for implementing communication and consultation initiatives and awareness of WHS requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing communication and consultation initiatives and awareness of WHS requirements
* Assisting in the investigation of HSW issues or incidents across schools
* Assisting in the development and review of Health and Safety requirements and associated documentation for schools
* Consulting with management and stakeholders on their schools (or office) WHS performance
* Assist in the identification and management of risk
* Assist in health and safety consultation activities
* Conduct and assist workers to conduct regular health and safety inspections and risk assessments
* Investigate health and safety incidents and dangerous events to prevent recurrence
About You:
The successful applicant will hold/have/or be prepared to obtain:
• Senior First Aid Certificate,
• Strong IT skills and experience, and
• Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety Certificate.
