Casual Band 1 $48.30 per hour inclusive of casual and special engagement loading as well as statutory superannuation (junior rates will apply if under 21).
Availability to work nights and weekends is essential.
A unique and exciting opportunity exists for experienced bartenders and baristas to become an integral part of the Front of House team at the Wedge Performing Arts
Centre, located in Sale. The Wedge Performing Arts Centre houses a 390-seat theatre, 50-seat studio theatre, Bar and Foyer, function and rehearsal rooms.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be to provide support and customer service to patrons and the responsible service of food and beverage associated with the
Theatre Bar.
You will possess strong communication skills and a proven customer service background in the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and determine a logical approach to problem solving.
* Outstanding customer service skills with proven experience in a customer facing role.
* Experience in bartender or barista roles.
* Ability to work well and contribute to a team environment.
* A demonstrated interest in the performing arts and hospitality industry.
