Remote Financial Services Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Financial Services Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional financial management services to our clients, ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily bookkeeping and account reconciliation in Xero with precision.
* Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and assist with payroll functions.
* Assist with preparation of workpapers for Australian tax clients.
* Maintain financial records and prepare regular reports.
* Utilize Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
* Assist with individual, company, and trust tax returns using Xero Tax.
* Review and verify accuracy of bookkeeping entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by other team members.
* Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
* Suggest and implement improvements to existing bookkeeping workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with Xero reporting functions and dashboard customization.
* Skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
* Experience with Australian individual, company, and trust tax returns (desired for intermediate level).
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Self-motivation with ability to work independently.
* Reliable high-speed internet connection and backup power source.
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
