As part of this, they're upgrading several key business systems-including a core Works Management System (WMS) that supports day-to-day operations. This role offers the chance to get involved in a major system uplift project, helping modernise how essential services are delivered across the business. About the Role: This role is part of a cross-functional Agile team dedicated to enhancing the functionality, performance, and reliability of a core enterprise platform. The system architecture comprises a SQL Server database, Windows and Web Services, Azure Application Services, and a legacy MS Access component. As the UI Developer, you'll play a key role in modernising the platform-focusing on WPF desktop development using C# .NET and the DevExpress WPF framework. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance WPF desktop applications using C# .NET and DevExpress framework Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams to deliver system enhancements Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and estimate development complexity Build, test, and deploy UI components while maintaining quality standards Participate in Agile ceremonies and iterative development processes Support application performance monitoring and optimization Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies Contribute to system modernisation efforts and legacy component migration Monitor the performance of the application.
