Role Overview:
CHC Helicopters is seeking to appoint Safety and Quality Advisors who will support the accomplishment of business objectives and contribute to the development of operational risk functions, safety reporting, and metric development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the S&Q management in delivering operational risk functions, including DSRM, Safety Reporting, and Metric development
* Provide administrative support to the S&Q team, including oversight and follow-up of ongoing tasks, managing safety reports, action oversight, and storage of meeting minutes, safety information, and evidence
* Develop and maintain high-level analysis and reports from safety system surveys
* Coordinate follow-up, analysis, and reports from company-wide risk reviews
* Display a high level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential material
* Maintain strong working relationships with management, staff, and regulatory authorities
* Keep up-to-date with current trends and developments associated with the industry, including quality and safety legislation
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate IV in WHS or Diploma in aviation or other relevant field (desirable)
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or similar training knowledge and experience (desirable)
* Experience working in a safety and quality environment (desirable)
* Experience in administration within an aviation environment (required)
* Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point
* A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, both verbal and written, self-motivated, results-oriented, with a focus on quality and customer service
