Job Title: Strategic Portfolio Coordinator
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions is focused on driving Victoria's prosperity. This role will support the Senior Manager in overseeing critical portfolio activities, including Coronial inquests, VCAT matters, and combat sports regulation.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Prepare high-quality briefs and advice on matters relevant to the Combat Sports Team.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with stakeholders such as State and Territory Combat Sport Commissions and Government Authorities.
* Administrative Support: Convene and provide secretariat support at Board and Sub-Committee meetings.
* Critical Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the Board, including Board member appointments and review processes.
Requirements
* Experience in policy development and Victorian Government Parliamentary and Cabinet processes.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work across multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring flexibility and analytical thinking.
* Data collection and monitoring skills to analyse information and apply strategic insights.
