Salary Range:$ $33.20 per hour pending experience + Super
Gilroy Santa Maria College is looking for passionate and dedicated School Officer- Hospitality Kitchen Assistant to work in a Fixed- Term, Term-Time capacity for the 2026 school year, completing 24 hours /week.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic School Officer – Assisting Student Learning (Hospitality) to inspire and support students both in the classroom and our Hospitality spaces. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with learning across curriculum areas while guiding students through practical kitchen lessons, including preparation, cooking, and using commercial equipment. Experience with industry-standard hospitality skills, including coffee-making, is a bonus but not essential. The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and passionate about fostering student confidence, wellbeing, and engagement. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, provide meaningful feedback, and create a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating learning environment where every student can thrive.
