As the **Executive Assistant**, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks with impeccable organisational skills. You'll be the right-hand to our CEO and Board, supporting them as we prepare Carers Queensland for a period of rapid growth and increased impact for carers and those they care for. As the **EA to the CEO**, you will offer confidential and comprehensive executive and secretarial support that will ensure the smooth operation of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and the wider organisation. It requires initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:
- **Provide high level **personal assistance to the Chief Executive Officer in all aspects of their work.
- **Provide high level administrative support** to the Executive Leadership Team, First Nations Inclusion Officer and other staff as required.
- **Coordinate and manage** travel requirements for the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leadership Team, First Nations Inclusion Officer and Board of Governance.
- Assist the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team with the implementation and ongoing support of organisational diversity initiatives.

**Next step: Do you have the following...**:
- At least 3 years' experience in an EA role to be successful in this exciting but at the same time challenging role.
- It is **paramount **that you have had Board Secretariat experience.
- A **can-do-attitude** with amazing skills that can make a CEO's schedule come to life
- Demonstrated **exceptional experience providing administrative support including excellent ICT skills**:
- ** High level of communication skills both written and verbal** and strong interpersonal skills: the ability to build rapport and adapt skills according to the audience is a must
- The **skills & ability to triage and prioritise **work tasks
- ** Please note**: Due to the nature of the work, all staff must hold or be willing to obtain both a valid Blue Card Working with Children & NDIS Worker Screen.
