We are seeking an experienced HGV Class C driver to join our repair services team.
This role will involve collecting and delivering vehicles within agreed timescales, providing excellent customer service on collection and delivery.
1. As a key member of the team, you will handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and follow procedures.
2. You will be responsible for documenting any damage or defects, taking digital photographs, and obtaining customer signatures.
3. You will identify potential issues during loading/unloading or handover and bring them to the attention of the production manager.
Key Requirements
* This is a permanent position working 45 hours per week.
* You must hold a valid HGV Class C driver's license.
* You should have experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles and be familiar with recovery processes.
* You will require excellent customer handling skills and knowledge of the local area around our repair centre.
* A current, valid driving license meeting fleet insurance criteria is essential, along with a Class 'C' LGV license.
* A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is also required.
