12-Month Traineeship – Shire of Toodyay
The Shire of Toodyay is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Infrastructure Assets and Services Trainee.
This 12-month traineeship provides hands-on experience across a variety of local government services including parks and gardens, road maintenance, ranger services, and administration. You'll work both outdoors and in an office environment while developing valuable practical skills and receiving on-the-job training.
We will also support you to obtain your HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence and provide exposure to plant and equipment operation.

What we're looking for:
* A genuine interest in local government and outdoor/technical work
* Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a respectful attitude
* Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
* Basic computer literacy and willingness to complete admin tasks
* Current C Class Driver's Licence and ability to obtain HR licence
* Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (National Police Clearance, medical)
