Join us as a Senior Underwriter to play a vital role in managing risk for our clients. You will be responsible for assessing and evaluating risks, developing insurance solutions and maintaining relationships with brokers.
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records and files to contribute to management reporting and timely service and policy issuance
* Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting guidelines, relevant underwriting authority and company principles
* Deliver presentations to brokers with an audience
* Lead complex underwriting projects – i.e. broker tenders
* Develop and maintain solid working relationships with existing/new producing brokers
* Assist in portfolio decisions following actuarial reviews and involvement in setting the strategy

The ideal candidate will have proven track record demonstrating strong sales skills together with a solid understanding of brokerage market as you will be a key point of contact for our broker panel Analytical skills are required to manage the profitability of brokers in conjunction with the Financial Lines management and existing professional relationships with brokers would be beneficial Proven track record in managing and developing broker relationships, highly collaborative approach and excellent communication & presentation skills Insurance qualifications (ANZIIF Senior Associate or equivalent) and financial lines experience would be highly regarded
