Financial Expert Sought for Strategic Analysis and Reporting

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial expert to provide crucial analysis, reporting, and guidance in support of our department's decision-making processes.

* Generate accurate monthly management reports and financial data for budget monitoring, including variance analysis for stakeholders.
* Review, post journals, and investigate errors in SAP and Business Warehouse systems.
* Cultivate collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular meetings to address financial issues.
* Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and financial modeling, identifying implications and supporting the annual Estimates process.
* Monitor the capital program's compliance with Government financial legislation and departmental policies for asset capitalization.
* Enhance finance functions by reviewing and refining systems, procedures, and reporting methods using SAP and Business Warehouse.
* Offer professional expertise in project accounting and asset management.
* Ensure adherence to Government financial legislation and departmental policies for financial reporting and operational matters.

* Demonstrated SAP experience in relation to cost centre accounting, including a high level of computer literacy in excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to obtain and interpret information and make suitable recommendations.
* Thorough knowledge of legislation and policies relating to financial and operational issues.
* Ability to provide advice, guidance, and training to the team, ensuring that the team is adhering to all policies and standards and effectively using established systems and tools.
* Tertiary qualifications in the fields of Finance, Business, or other related study would be highly regarded.
