Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to take ownership of payroll operations within a dynamic and fast-paced property and real estate environment. If you are a payroll professional with strong SAP SuccessFactors experience and a deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing for employees across corporate offices.
* Maintain accurate employee records in SAP SuccessFactors, including onboarding, offboarding, and changes to employment conditions.
* Ensure payroll compliance with Australian legislation, Modern Awards, and internal company policies.
* Reconcile and submit statutory obligations including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and STP.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Project Managers to ensure correct cost allocations and project-based reporting.
* Support internal and external audits through accurate recordkeeping.
* Mentor junior payroll staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
* Assist with SAP SuccessFactors upgrades, testing, and automation projects.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Payroll Officer.
* Proficient in SAP SuccessFactors for payroll processing and reporting.
* Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, ideally within the property or construction industries.
* High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other payroll reporting tools.
