As a MAZAK CNC Machinist, your normal work will include:
* Setting up and operating CNC lathes and machining centres
* Machining brackets, manifolds and engine mounts to tight tolerances
* Reading engineering drawings and checking dimensions accurately
* Working in a small team to meet production deadlines
* Taking part in training and gradually learning Mazatrol programming
* Contributing to safe workplace standards and continuous improvement
You will work with up to ten different machines, providing variety and learning opportunities. Experienced CNC Operators or Machining Technicians who want to take the next step will thrive here.

What you need to be successful as a MAZAK CNC Machinist
To secure this MAZAK CNC Machinist position, you will need:
* Trade Certificate or equivalent hands on machining experience
* Experience with small CNC machines, turning and or milling
* Ability to measure accurately and follow production specifications
* Willingness to learn Mazatrol or grow your existing knowledge
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Minimum Permanent Resident visa status (Employer is open to future sponsorship pathways for the right person)
Experienced CNC Machinists, Machining Technicians and 1st Class Machinists are strongly encouraged to apply.
