SA Health is seeking a dedicated Casual Catering Operator to join our team at Port Pirie Regional Health Service within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. This flexible role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to patient care through quality food service delivery.
What You'll Do:
Working across 7 days with various shifts from 7am-8pm, you'll play a vital role in delivering timely, efficient catering services. Your responsibilities include preparing vegetables, meat, salads, sandwiches and toast, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring food trays and trolleys are ready for service. You'll assist with meal service, tea and coffee preparation while maintaining clean, hygienic work areas and washing equipment.
What We're Looking For:
We need someone with catering experience and basic knowledge of Food Safety and Infection Control Standards. You'll demonstrate flexibility with rostering, work effectively independently or within teams, and meet tight timeframes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount in this healthcare setting.

This casual position runs until 31 December 2025, providing excellent flexibility while contributing to essential healthcare services.
