Overview
We are currently seeking a committed and reliable Casual support worker to assist clients based in the northern Gold Coast region with in home care, social support and community access. Proven experience with challenging behaviours, and working with clients who have complex mental health conditions and PTSD is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
* Assistance with Daily Activities
* Community access and social support
* Domestic assistance
* Personal care
* Meal prep
Schedule
Weekdays and weekends AM & PM shifts. Average 4 to 6 hours per shift, up to two shifts per day.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: From $35.00 per hour.
Travel between shifts: $0.96 per km (terms and conditions apply).
Requirements
* Experience working with clients with challenging behaviours and complex mental health.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable car.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
* Current First Aid and CPR.
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
* Be able to provide 2 current/recent work-related references.
Location
Work location: In person, northern Gold Coast region.
