What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a practical and dependable Team Member to join our Works & Services team within Infrastructure Operations. In this permanent full-time role, you’ll help deliver and maintain roads, drainage systems, footpaths and civil infrastructure that directly support our local community.
You’ll bring hands-on experience in civil construction, particularly concrete formwork and finishing, pipe laying and drainage maintenance. You enjoy working outdoors, take pride in high-quality workmanship, and value being part of a supportive, safety-focused team.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Participate in daily toolbox meetings and plan maintenance activitiesUndertake civil construction works including concrete, asphalt and bitumen repairsLay pipes and conduits and maintain kerb, pavement, footpaths and stormwater systemsOperate and maintain plant and equipment safely and efficientlyInstall traffic control and signage in line with approved Traffic Guidance SchemesComplete timesheets and required documentation accuratelyMaintain tools and equipment, reporting faults as requiredRepresent Council professionally while delivering services to the community

What You’ll Need For Success
Current MR Driver’s Licence and current Class C Driver’s LicenceDemonstrated experience in road and drainage maintenance including concrete works, earthworks, pavement placement and pipe layingAbility to work effectively under general supervisionGood oral and written communication skills, including accurate completion of timesheets and formsProven ability to work effectively within a team environment
