The Eva Copper Mine Project islocatedon the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People inNorthWestQueensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.
The Project is aniron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

The opportunity:
Thiess is inviting Expression of Interests experienced and motivated individuals to join our Drill & Blast Crew in our high-performing Eva Copper Mine Project, in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia.
Set to become the largest copper mine in Northwest Queensland, the Eva Copper Mine is an iron oxide copper gold resource located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People, approximately 75km north of Cloncurry and 95km north-east of Mount Isa.
We are building a high-performing team and are seeking operators across a range of talent:
* Pump Crew
* MPU Operators
* Shotfirers
This is an opportunity to join a landmark project from the ground up.
About you:
* Minimum of 1 year of prior working experiencein a mining environment / Drill & Blast Crew
* Current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or willingness to obtain
* Current Drivers Licence
* Valid qualifications, certifications and/or signed transcripts (position dependent)
* A commitment to a positive safety culture
