About the Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will:
* Undertake site inspections and investigations on a range of residential and commercial buildings
* Diagnose building defects, identify causes, and propose practical repair solutions
* Assist in preparing clear, concise remedial and forensic reports
* Liaise directly with clients including builders, strata managers, insurers, and homeowners
* Support project delivery including documentation, reporting, and compliance
* Occasionally assist with construction phase services and site supervision
* Contribute to the consultancy's growth by building positive client relationships
Skills & Experience Required
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential)
* 2–4 years' experience in structural design, remedial, or related engineering fields
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Interest in remedial, forensic, and defect investigation work
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
* Practical, solution-focused mindset with attention to detail
* Willingness to travel locally for site inspections when required
