* Job Description
* We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Regional Real Estate Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for leading new leases, renewals, purchases, and sales across the Asia Pacific region. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, landlords, brokers, and other partners to deliver strategic insight and hands-on leadership to every transaction.
* As a key member of our Global Real Estate team, you will play a critical role in shaping our regional property footprint. You will drive cost-efficiency, forge strong partnerships, and champion a culture grounded in health, safety, and sustainability.
* Some of your key responsibilities will include:
o Serving as the primary regional contact for real estate requests.
o Providing expert guidance on property needs, contract terms, negotiations, lease management, and dispute resolution.
o Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, landlords, brokers, and other partners.
o Implementing and providing training on ALS Real Estate & Facility Management policies.
o Using lease management software for centralized tracking, reporting, and to support sustainability data requirements.
o Leading and supporting sale-and-leaseback transactions to maximize asset value while managing long-term costs.
o Evaluating and optimizing facility usage across the region to reduce excess space, improve ROCE, and plan for growth.
o Conducting regular benchmarking and assessing strategies for competitive pricing and property tax reduction.
o Aligning with sustainability, procurement, and business leaders to manage facility-related costs and environmental initiatives.
o Meeting Real Estate & Facilities KPIs and delivering cost savings through strategic planning and execution.
* Required Skills and Qualifications
* To succeed in this role, you will need:
o A minimum of 7-10 years of corporate real estate experience in country or regional leadership roles.
o A BA or BS degree in Business, Real Estate, Operations, or related field is preferred.
o Certification (i.e., FMP or Continuing Education in Facility Management) is preferred.
o Strong knowledge of real estate and facility management processes.
o Results-driven mindset, demonstrating initiative and creativity.
o Proven record of implementing continuous improvement ideas that deliver savings, efficiency, and optimization of capabilities.
o International business experience across a variety of regions and cultures.
