Our mining services client based near the Perth Airport has engaged us to source an experienced Events Coordinator/Assistant to assist in their upcoming resource industry-based project. This role requires an experienced person for 2 days per week having experience in tradeshow, exhibitions and conference, managing all the stakeholders from suppliers to business line. managers. This is a very busy role and we are looking for someone with a logically approached and able to multi-task many events at once.
**Duties**
- Coordinate upcoming events and managing merchandise.
- Develop and execute events, webinars and conferences that delight and inform clients and prospects.
- Build leads and strengthening our position in the market.
- Event administration tasks.
- Client liaison.
- Onsite logístical operations.
- Support the planning and delivery of online and hybrid events.
- Development and management of invitations and registrations.
- Provide event management solutions including venue selection, compilation of strategic guest lists, programs, catering, seating plans and production.
- Manage and respond to all function enquiries
**Skills & Experience**
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong initiative and excellent organisation skills.
- A friendly and collaborative team approach.
- Ability to be agile in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Current drivers license desirable
- Computer literacy (Lotus Notes, MyOsh LMS, ADP Payroll experience would be amazing but not a requirement)
