About the role
The primary purpose of the Compliance & QualityImprovement Officer (Education) is to:
* Support AMES Australia compliance and quality withregulatory standards, contract requirements and curriculum, andto support the continuous improvement across all educationdelivery by assessing and reporting on AMES Australia'scompliance with the requirements of Funding Body contracts andidentify areas for improvement.
* Maintain and upgrade the Student Management System(STRATA); ensure accurate reporting and analysis of Educationdelivery against KPIs to assist the Management Team driveperformance and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with relevant managers, support and deliveryemployees across AMES Australia and subcontractors to ensurecontinuous improvement by documenting, reviewing and updatingrelevant processes and procedures and support theimplementation of changes across AMES Australia employees, aswell as subcontractors.
Key selection criteria
* Diploma in Business or related field; and a minimum of 3years' experience in a similar position OR
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position,including some experience in the Education sector
* Strong knowledge and understanding of Skills First, AMEPand SEE funding programs and compliance requirements
* Strong knowledge and understanding of requirements forValidation / Moderation Activities, and Government Funded Bodyrequirements against ASQA Delegate Standards and ASQAStandards
* Good interpersonal and critical thinking skills, includingthe ability to resolve issues innovatively
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including the abilityto liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholdersto achieve a desired outcome
* Demonstrated written communication and report writingskills
* Demonstrated ability to generate qualitative andquantitative data for internal and external audiences
* Demonstrated ability to generate and review analytics toidentify trends, emerging issues and forecast issues
* Strong Customer Service skills with the capability to dealeffectively with internal stakeholders
* Understanding of compliance and qualityprinciples
* Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel(intermediary or advanced level), PowerPoint, databases, webapplications and the ability to learn and train others in theuse of Information Systems
* Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability,teamwork and professionalism and demonstrated commitment toquality and continuous improvement principles
* The incumbent in this position must have fluent writtenEnglish skills
