This position sits within the credit decisioning team and holds a $1 million DOA with the main function to assess the risk and credit exposure of their portfolio with responsibilities that will include but not be limited to:
- Extensive analysis of company statements and financials to assess credit risk
- Recommend and approve million-dollar credit lines to a variety of clients, including large commercial clients within the ANZ region
- Annual review of credit facilities
- Manage commercial client relationships
- Manage ongoing maintenance of the security register
- Manage commercial lending risk assessments, financial reviews and credit line reviews
- Offer financial and analytical support to internal stakeholders when managing credit risk with major clients
- Liaison with internal and external legal counsel for security documentation preparation
- Ensure company is compliant with internal controls and external policy requirements
- Minimum 2 years+ experience in a similar credit analyst/risk role
- Financial Services and/or Asset Finance experience is essential
- A tertiary qualification in an Accounting or Finance related field is highly desirable
- Experience and detailed understanding of reading and interpreting credit risk factors from financial statements
- Proven business partnering skills
