About the Role
About the Role – An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-oriented casual part-time Project & Administrative Assistant to join our client's team, located in Wodonga, Victoria. This role provides critical administrative support across general operations, project coordination, and quality assurance. Reporting to senior managers, the position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
General Administration
Perform accurate data entry and maintain records
Manage incoming calls and respond to general enquiries
Project Administration
Maintain administrative oversight of allocated projects
Ensure contracts are received, reviewed, and processed appropriately
Extract and record contract information relevant to invoicing and site requirements
Review compliance requirements including inductions, Working with Children Checks, and Police Checks
Liaise with employees and contractors to ensure timely completion of required site documentation
Maintain and update the job register, circulating updates to relevant staff
Quality Assurance
Support all QA documentation requirements using Excel and company templates
Assist with ITPs and related compliance records
Skills and Attributes
Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team of seven and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
Previous experience in administration or project coordination is desirable; experience within construction or engineering will be highly regarded
Additional Information
This is a part-time role; the company closes annually for a three-week period over Christmas
Please note: this position does not provide leave during school holiday periods
