Administration & Communications CoordinatorPart-time to Full-time (3-5 days per week with job sharing potential)About the Role:As an Administration & Communications Coordinator, you will support the daily operations of the club, providing administrative and customer service support to ensure race meetings, functions, and office operations run smoothly.Position Description:Admin: Assist the CEO with account management, race day admin, social media, sponsorship, and functions plans.Reception: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring excellent service.Social media: Manage social media to promote harness racing and club services.Sponsorship & Marketing: Collaborate with the CEO on sponsorship strategies and liaise with sponsors.Functions: Coordinate functions at the club, ensuring smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:Provide friendly, effective communication and create a welcoming atmosphere.Handle inquiries, support clients, sponsors, and participants.Develop and schedule social media content to boost engagement.Create marketing materials, newsletters, and press releases, utilizing CRM data to engage stakeholders.Identify and maintain relationships with sponsors to secure funding.Monitor and report on social media, sponsorship, and event effectiveness.Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.Organize and oversee functions and race meetings, managing logistics.Skills and Experience:Preferably experience with MYOB or XERO accounting in an administrative role.High accuracy and attention to detail.Strong skills in Microsoft Office & Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.Friendly, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.What We Offer:Supportive, welcoming team culture.Flexible working arrangements (3-5 days, with job sharing potential).Opportunity to work in a community-driven industry.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include questions about your experience in communications, customer service, administration, digital marketing, right to work in Australia, and police check.Include any relevant details if reporting this ad as fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory.Research careers and find tips on career advice.
