ProTrades Insurance is Australia's go-to online insurance brokerage exclusively for tradespeople. We know the ins and outs of trades businesses, which means we can create tailored policies that actually make sense for our clients.
We are looking for a local from the Mornington Peninsula or Frankston area to join our friendly team as an Assistant Insurance Broker. If you enjoy building relationships and helping businesses protect what matters most, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Processing of insurance quotations, endorsements and renewals
* Discussing client needs and providing tailored solutions
* Negotiating with insurers
* Managing claims
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 2 years in general insurance broking with tier 1 qualifications
* Experience with WinBEAT and Sunrise systems
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a growing book of existing clients
* A focus to grow the business both organically and with new clients coming in daily via our website and phone
* Understanding our tradie clients – what they do, how they work, and the challenges they face is key; tradie experience is valuable but not essential

Work Arrangement
This role is currently based from home with plans to transition to a hybrid office arrangement once a local office is established.
