Job Opportunity:
As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for transporting goods to stores and distribution centers across Bowen, QLD, and regional areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a strong commitment to road transport safety standards at all times
* Comply with the coupling and uncoupling procedure as per regulations
* Be able to assist in loading and unloading when required
* Have a good understanding of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
* Effectively communicate with team members, managers, and customers on a daily basis
Requirements:
* Hold a valid and current Heavy Rigid (HR) license
* Current Light Rigid (LF) forklift license is highly regarded
* History of safe work practices and adherence to company policies
* Familiarity with the Townsville metropolitan area
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* A proactive approach and positive attitude towards work
